Outrigger Canoe at Capistrano Beach, 1980s - B05
Outrigger canoe off Capistrano Beach with Walter Hoffman (owner of Hoffman California Fabrics) at the helm - 1983. The canoe was purchased in Hawaii by Wayne Schafer and Walter Hoffman (neighbors on Beach Road) and was the only fiberglass outrigger in the area in the early 80s and became the first one on loan to the Dana Outrigger Canoe Club’s practice efforts.
